HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the main language used to create webpages. Although there are certain standards that regulate it, web browser developers usually implement variations. As a result, there can be different visualizations when using different browsers, and in the worst case, your browser may fail to show an intended webpage properly.
Browser Chooser is intended to ease the process of selecting what browser to use when opening web pages. This way, you will be in control of the compatibility between a given webpage and the browser. In this regard, Browser Chooser will act as an intermediary between the page and the web browsers installed in your computer.
Using Browser Chooser is really simple. The first step will be configuring the application, which consists in setting what browsers you want to be able to choose from. As the interface is divided into tabs, you can use each tab to specify a given browser. Although some browsers, such as Firefox and Internet Explorer, can be selected directly from the available list, you can also customize other browsers by entering the target executable, choosing an image and setting a display name.
Then, the second step is just using the application. For example, if you want to open a webpage that you have previously saved, instead of opening in your default web navigator, Browser Chooser will appear to let you choose one of the configured browsers.
All in all, Browser Chooser is light and easy-to-use application that will take you a few minutes to set up but will save you a lot of time.
